My pets LOVE these guys! Great to put in the freezer and break off as smaller pieces!

My cats love them! They play with them, carry them around the house, will bring it to me as a gift, and love to chew on/eat them!

Chocking hazard. Intestinal blocking hazard. My god!

Hi Constance, thank you for your concern. Feeding hide pieces with fur (no bones) is not a choking or intestinal blocking hazard. Cats and dogs will chew them for a long time, and the hide acts as a natural insoluble fiber that scrubs their intestines and can help solve anal gland disorders.
Here is an article detailing the benefits of feeding fur: https://blog.adoredbeast.com/should-i-be-feeding-fur-and-feathers-to-my-pet/

Our shipment of Dehydrated Rabbit Strips and Chips arrived today and I had to try one out on my 5-month-old puppy right away! She is on a food trial for allergies, so for months ahead the protein she eats can only be rabbit, and I am so grateful to have come across these treats, in a dog world of chicken and beef treats that she cannot have. She watched me very intently as I took one out, and she seemed to know exactly what it was for, because as soon as it was offered she snatched it and went behind her pillow to chew it over at least 15 minutes of blissful solitude (she’s a fast chewer)! She was completely infatuated with it, so these are going to be our very high-value treats for occasions when she needs something special, like when she is exposed to a new place and feels uncertain and timid about it – these will help her make a positive association. Thank you so much, Savage Cat, for providing these foods that are alternative to the mainstream offerings and that make animals feel like their natural selves!
